Technical Data

  • - Base raw material: Polyurethane resin / Hardener
  • - Cleaning agent: WAKOL RV 105 Neoprene Solvent, before the adhesive sets
  • - Mixing ratio: 5.7 parts by weight of component A + 1 part by weight of component B
  • - Mixing time: approx. 40 minutes
  • - Evaporation time: 5-70 minutes depending on the floor covering being laid
  • - Open time: approx. 70-80 minutes after mixing
  • - Setting time: Final strength is reached after approximately 24-48 hours
  • - Storage time: 12 months in a sealed container
  • - Storage temperature: not below +5°C, sensitive to freezing

Application and consumption instructions *

  • - TKB A1 approx. 350-600 g/m² Smooth-backed floors
  • - TKB A2 approx. 350-600 g/m² Smooth-backed floors
  • - TKB B1 approx. 350 - 600 g/m² Flooring with smooth, sanded rubber studs
  • - TKB B2 approx. 600 - 700 g/m² Flooring with a structured back
  • - The groove depends on the floor's supporting structure and must saturate the entire surface.
  • * Consumption depends on the surface structure and the absorption capacity of the screed.

Screeds

Both the subfloor and the interior climatic conditions must meet the requirements of current standards and technical data sheets. Screeds must be permanently dry, firm, smooth, and free of cracks, dirt, and substances that impede adhesion.

Fill screeds with large uneven surfaces with appropriate Wakol leveling compounds.

The technical information for primers and smoothing compounds must be observed.

Application

Empty the entire contents of the hardener container (component B) into the component A container. Mix the two components vigorously with a stirring device for at least three minutes until a uniform color is achieved and the grooves disappear.

Apply evenly with a notched trowel, avoiding adhesive buildup. Install the floor covering within the open time; the back of the floor covering must be sufficiently moistened with adhesive. Re-laminate the rubber coverings after approximately two hours.

Do not walk on the installed surfaces for the first 4-6 hours.

Clean tools with WAKOL RV 105 Neoprene Solvent immediately after use. Once set, the adhesive can only be removed mechanically.

Important Instructions

Do not use at floor temperatures below +15°C and ambient temperatures below +18°C; The humidity in the room should preferably be between 40% and 65%, and a maximum of 75%. The data are for a temperature of approximately 20°C and a relative humidity of approximately 50%.

When installing roll material, always wait for the adhesive to react initially. Consult the Wakol Application Technology department in this regard.

We guarantee the consistently high quality of our products. All data is based on tests and many years of practical experience and refers to standardized conditions. The wide variety of materials used and the varying conditions on construction sites, which are beyond our control, invalidate any claims based on this data.

Therefore, we recommend conducting sufficient in-house testing. Please observe the flooring manufacturer's installation instructions, as well as the currently applicable data sheets and standards.
