Technical Data

  • Base raw material: Acrylate dispersion
  • Evaporation time: approx. 10-20 minutes depending on the toothing of the spatula, the screed, and the floor
  • Open time: approx. 20-30 minutes
  • Cleaning agent: Water, before the adhesive begins to dry
  • Storage time: 12 months at room temperature
  • Storage temperature: not below +5°C, sensitive to freezing

Application and consumption*

TKB A1 approx. 250-280 g/m² chemically etched floor coverings

TKB A2 approx. 300 - 350 g/m² PVC design flooring, homogeneous and heterogeneous PVC flooring in rolls and tiles, chemically etched flooring, rubber flooring

TKB B1 approx. 400 - 450 g/m² textile flooring, woven flooring, linoleum flooring

TKB B2 approx. 500 - 550 g/m² textile flooring and woven flooring with a rough substrate structure, needle punched flooring

*)Consumption depends on the surface structure and the absorption capacity of the screed.

Screeds

On cast asphalt screeds, use only Wakol reactive resin primers such as WAKOL PU 280 Polyurethane Primer. Screeds must be permanently dry, firm, smooth, and free of cracks, dirt, and substances that impair adhesion.

Fill large uneven screeds with appropriate Wakol leveling compounds. Follow the technical information for primers and smoothing compounds.

Install PVC and chemically etched flooring over non-absorbent screeds using the bonding method. Joints that are in the bonding phase may allow for improved residual print performance.

Application

Stir the adhesive well before use. Apply evenly to the screed using a notched trowel, avoiding adhesive buildup. Lay the flooring, allowing the required ventilation time for a perfect fit, and smooth thoroughly. Smooth again after a few minutes.

Generally, rubber flooring should be installed using the wet bonding phase. Smooth again with a roller after approximately 1 hour.

If necessary, apply weight to the edges of the flooring until the adhesive sets.

On non-absorbent screeds, wait until the bonding phase begins before installing the flooring. Rub again after a few minutes. Stir the adhesive well before using. Apply evenly to the floor using a notched trowel, avoiding adhesive buildup.
