Field of application:
It is a self-levelling mortar that allows the levelling of floors, correcting irregularities of the paving and creating smooth screeds ready to adhere ceramic pieces or receive any other light paving covering.
Levelling paste with excellent adhesion on different construction substrates. It is applied in thicknesses from 3 to 15mm. Pumpable. For interior use.
Product description:
Grey powder with special cements and plasticisers with good dispersibility.
Mixed with water it results in a smooth, flowable, self-levelling mortar.
Pumpable, can be worked for 15 min. and can be walked on after 3 h. The mortar hardens by hydration.
The mortar hardens by hydration and dries quickly into an almost tension-free mass.
Substrate preparation:
The substrate must be dry, hard, solid, rough and free of dust, loose particles, traces of paint, oils, etc. It is advisable that it has an intermediate roughness to facilitate penetration and adhesion.
Porous substrates should be primed with ARDEX P51 diluted according to the instructions in the technical data sheet.
On mosaic, terrazzo or other non-porous substrates, it is necessary to prime with ARDEX P82. In case of doubt, carry out a preliminary test.
Instructions for use:
Pour clear water into a clean container and mix the powder, stirring vigorously until a homogeneous, fluid mortar without lumps is obtained.
Approximately 4 - 4.25 litres of water are required to mix 25 kg of NIVELCEM PLUS.
The mortar can be used for approx. 15 minutes at a temperature of 18-20ºC. Lower temperatures extend the working time, higher temperatures shorten the working time.
With NIVELCEM PLUS it can be easily coated and is so fluid that a subsequent sanding treatment is generally hardly necessary.
Recommendations:
The NIVELCEM PLUS coating at a temperature of 18-20°C can be walked on after 2-3 hours.
NIVELCEM PLUS layers dry and harden quickly and can normally be coated after 1 day at an ambient temperature of 18-20ºC. Before applying moisture-sensitive coatings, moisture must be measured in the mass of NIVELCEM PLUS. Work NIVELCEM PLUS with temperatures above 5ºC and below 30ºC.
Protect the coatings from direct sunlight and draughts to avoid too rapid drying. NIVELCEM PLUS is not suitable for exterior applications or substrates subject to constant humidity.
Precautions:
Contains cement, alkaline reaction, therefore protect eyes and skin. In case of contact, rinse immediately with water.
In case of contact with eyes, consult a doctor.
Once dry, it has no physiological or ecological effects.
GISCODE ZP 1 = Product containing chromate poor cement.
