ARDEX P82 - Primer for low-porous substrates

Product description:

Solvent-free, two-component synthetic resin dispersion comprising:

ARDEX P82 Component A pinkish colour and ARDEX P82 Component B white.

Mixing ratio: 1:1

Density: approx. 1.0 kg/litre; pH-value approx. 11

Once dry, a film is obtained which acts as an adhesive on all smooth, waterproof surfaces.

Directions for use:

Mix according to the instructions provided on the packaging.

Mix the two components A + B in a 1:1 ratio until a homogeneous pink paste is obtained, which can be worked at a temperature of 18-20°C for 1 hour.

Spread ARDEX P82 thinly with a brush, roller, rubber or flat trowel on the dry substrate, free of any disintegrating agents. Up to 5% water can be added to improve spreading. When the sizing is sufficiently dry, the repair or finishing mortar can be applied.

Drying time is 1 hour depending on ventilation, temperature and substrate. Low temperatures and/or high humidity may delay or accelerate curing.

ARDEX P82 Primer is a good adhesive for all smooth, impervious surfaces which must be hard, dry and free of waxes, oils, dust or other disintegrating agents. Subsequent application of repair or finishing mortar shall be carried out within 48 hours.

The mixing container and tools should be washed immediately after use with water. Remove fresh ARDEX P82 with water and do not allow to dry on the skin. Avoid prolonged skin contact.

Precautions:

Irritating to skin and eyes, may cause sensitisation, may cause damage to health if swallowed.

May cause damage in case of prolonged reactions.

Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice.

During mixing protect yourself with goggles and gloves. Gloves must be worn during application. Keep work clothes clean.
