Field of application:
Shrinkage-free grout mortar with high short and long term mechanical strength.
Fluid grout type mortar that does not show shrinkage cracks (it expands very slightly); therefore cracks are avoided, and the hardened product completely occupies the volume to be filled.
Excellent adhesion to metal surfaces and concrete.
Extraordinary fluidity, self-levelling, even with little mixing water, so that the mortar paste fills perfectly all the areas of the anchorage, even the most difficult to access.
It passivates and protects the metal surfaces in contact, making them more durable.
It is free of chlorides and metallic aggregates that could promote corrosion.
Properties:
CEM-GROUT is a pourable, high-strength, fluid, non-shrink mortar ideal for backfilling and anchoring in concrete floors of machinery subjected to heavy mechanical stress.
Grout mortar for backfilling and sealing of concrete pillars, bridge bearings, rails, backfilling between walls and pillars, etc.
Special repairs on horizontal concrete surfaces, reinforcement injections for reinforcement of reinforcements, sheaths... etc. (by casting).
Instructions for use:
The substrate must be firm, rough and clean; it must be wet, so that it is damp, without puddling when the filler is applied.
Knead the non-shrink CEM GROUT mortar with 2/3 of the necessary water, and once well homogenised, add the rest of the water, until a fluid consistency is reached so that the paste will flow; (4-4.5 l. of water in total, per 25 kg bag).
If a thicker paste is desired, the ratio water/CEM GROUT should be 3 to 4 l. per 25 kg bag.
Take care to avoid excess water which would reduce the effectiveness of CEM GROUT.
The grout mortar thus obtained allows fillings of up to 7 cm, for greater thicknesses 2 bags of CEM GROUT should be mixed with a bag of aggregate of approximately 6 mm ("chickpea").
The mortar should be kept moist for 2-3 days to ensure proper curing. In case of using CEMGROUT formwork, a minimum of 12 h must be waited before proceeding to demoulding.
Please note:
The application should be carried out at substrate temperatures between +5 and +30ºC.
Once the mortar has started to set, no more water should be added or re-kneaded.
Precautions:
Contains cement, irritating to eyes and skin. Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and seek medical advice.
Wear suitable gloves.
Once dry, it has no physiological or ecological alterations.
