Gluing flooring to stair treads requires adhesives with high immediate adhesion and a strong adhesive bond that maintains permanent tension. With WAKOL D 3210 Kontakto, the processor is on the safe side and meets the requirements of TRGS 610. Furthermore, WAKOL D 3210 Kontakto is classified according to the best emission class with EMICODE EC1 PLUS. At the same time, you can work just as quickly as with conventional solvent-based contact adhesives.

WAKOL D 3210 Kontakto is fast

WAKOL D 3210 Kontakto is economical and fast. The flash-off times for WAKOL D 3210 Kontakto are 20 minutes on absorbent substrates and a maximum of 50 minutes on dense substrates. If you need to set it very quickly, a hot air dryer can help. This can significantly reduce flash-off times, to a maximum of 10 to 30 minutes.

Easy Application

Floor coverings can still be re-adjusted after installation, as the adhesive films do not melt until after pressing. The long laying time of 6 hours allows for stress-free installation without time pressure.

Time Savings Thanks to Pre-Flooring

If you are concerned about long flash-off times because the floor covering to be glued to the stairs has a highly absorbent and porous fleece backing and the climatic conditions of the unheated staircase do not meet standard requirements, you can take advantage of a special feature of WAKOL D 3210 Kontakto: the possibility of pre-flooring.

To achieve this, the back of the floor covering is coated with adhesive the day before installation and can be left to peel off overnight in a suitable location, for example, in the workshop.

On the day of installation, only the substrate is coated with adhesive, and after a short time to cool down, the floor covering is glued. Quick and secure.

Secure adhesion without discoloration of the floor covering

Especially in the field of lightweight PVC and CV flooring, unwanted interactions can occur with conventional solvent-based neoprene contact adhesives, which can cause discoloration of the floor covering when exposed to light. With WAKOL D 3210 Kontakto, a water-based, solvent-free contact adhesive, these interactions are eliminated.

Skirting boards and connecting profiles

Skirting boards and connecting profiles on plaster, concrete, and masonry are easy to bond with WAKOL D 3210 Kontakto. With WAKOL D 3210 Kontakto, even the stresses and deformations of profiles are safely maintained. Solvent-based contact adhesives are finally a thing of the past.
